RESEARCH

The increasing capabilities of smartphone cameras give them an increasingly dominant position in the camera market. However, most smartphone cameras do not yet offer advanced features such as depth mapping and light field imaging. Turning smartphones cameras into high-resolution light field imaging devices will enable breakthroughs in both imaging and non-imaging features such as depth of field reduction, bokeh control, refocusing, scene and gesture recognition...
